Sven, a resident of Upliving in Brussels, spontaneously decided last spring to organise Brasserie Parkiet, a sustainable community festival in Koekelberg. The event included local beers, seasonal vegetables grilled and served on flatbreads, as well as musical performances, street theatre and children's entertainment. It became a lively neighbourhood party that appealed to young and old alike.
